Job Description
As a data‑entry keyer you will join a small team that focuses on getting things right the first time. You will work independently, with little supervision, reading work orders, shipping orders and other customer‑service documents, then entering the data into our computer systems. Your work helps the whole company run smoothly.
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Read customer and shipping orders received in person, by print catalog, or online; decipher hard‑to‑read handwriting.
- Enter data into specific Microsoft Excel fields (most online orders are already partly formatted).
- Verify that the data is accurate before you enter it.
- Make sure data is consistent throughout the system (e.g., update a customer’s address everywhere it appears).
- Report any data errors or anomalies to your supervisor.
- Keep accurate logs of ongoing work.
- Perform filing, copying and other administrative tasks for about three hours each day (about five hours daily are spent on data entry).

Qualifications (Requirements)

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
