Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated HR Manager to support all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and staff development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing family-owned feedlot that values integrity, teamwork, and professionalism. Our newly renovated office is located 20 minutes north of Lethbridge in the heart of Picture Butte.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage recruitment, onboarding, and job postings.

· Process payroll, administer benefits.

· Support performance management and employee relations.

· Ensure HR policy compliance and oversee safety and incident reporting.

· Handle WCB claims, LMIA processes, and staff housing agreements.

· Lead, mentor and oversee the work of the HR & Office Assistant.

· Contribute to daily HR operations and broader office initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.

· Payroll experience required.

· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

· Three plus years of HR experience required.

· Degree or diploma in business, human resources, or a related field.

· Agriculture industry experience an asset.

Pay: $56,773.43-$116,184.77 per year
